After retiring from professional baseball in 2003, Chris Saunders graduated cum laude from the University of North Carolina Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He then began his public accounting career and earned his Certified Public Accounting License. Mr. Saunders joined Sherbert CPA, PC in 2009 and is currently an audit manager in charge of financial statements audits, reviews, and compilations as well as tax credit cost certification reports. Previously, he was drafted by the New York Mets in 1992; during his 12-year baseball career, he also played for the Cincinnati Reds, Montreal Expos, and Chicago White Sox organizations. Mr. Saunders and his family reside in the Charlotte area after moving from California following signing with the White Sox organization in 2001.
